Leap Dance Festival returns for 2024 following a five year hiatus.

Join us from 27th April 2024 - 12th May 2024 as we showcase the best dance talent across Liverpool City Region.
​
We will be celebrating a diverse range of artists and dance styles with something for everyone. There will be opportunities for young people, communities and professional artists to showcase their work in performance and take part in workshops and classes.

We have an exciting line up of events including traditional theatre based shows and activities taking over cultural buildings and the city centre.

Schools Dance Platform
Primary schools, secondary schools and sixth form colleges present work based on a central theme in an evening of dance performance.

Dancing On The Streets
Dance explodes across Liverpool City Centre with pop up performances taking place in unexpected places. Made possible with financial support from Liverpool BID Company.

Liverpool Dance Prize
A showcasing opportunity for emerging artists developing new work with the chance to win a development fund to further the work.

Leap Cabaret
An evening of circus, burlesque and dance. Featuring an array of international artists based in Liverpool City Region.
